This unit focuses on developing skills that are required to be 'entrepreneurial' in varied contexts, ranging from social start-ups to, public, private and academic sectors. Students undertake initiatives according to their personal values and interests within available faculty resources. During the course of study, students will develop different skills required to create spaces for innovation to, how to be effective leaders and supportive followers. Ultimately this intensive self-paced learning unit will help students in building international network as part of university fellowship programme or internship leading to a concrete outcome that will make a positive impact on university's academic environment.
1. Understand university learning environment by engaging with faculty in the process of developing academic units;
2. Develop skills to create innovation, collaboration or maker spaces;
3. Understand issues related to raising funds for social cause; and
4. Demonstrate ability to host events workshops that expose students to creativity, innovation, design thinking and tools to hone their entrepreneurial mindset.
