I was inspired by the Buddhist proverb 'the three monkeys' presenting a modern interpretation of this in my painting. I focused more on the aesthetics of the proverb rather than the proverb itself. Instead of focusing on the message, I wanted to create something that can be enjoyed by most people if not everyone.
