The logo for my school (Dickson College) was designed over a decade ago and is due for a freshen up. I created a new logo and style with a specific identity in mind: progression and inclusivity. I drew inspiration from the physical school grounds and a specific structure I pass every day entering the building: a footbridge crossing a stormwater drain. While seemingly mundane, I found so many symbolic parallels between the structure and the school that I felt it was the perfect visual representation.
