The Great Escape is a story about young boy wondering why he can’t have the same opportunities as all the other children he sees. He starts a small business, and raises enough money to put himself through school.
He still experiences bullying and marginalisation because he is from a different background and of a different class. As a result of working hard and treating everyone how he wants to be treated, he completes his schooling as dux of his school and school captain.
Years later, with a great career, happy family and perfect health, he returns to a school reunion. Everyone marvels at his successes, and questions him about his story. He then tells them, about his charity; Great Escape - an organisation to help the poor beat poverty.
