My submission is a short story, written as part of my English course. I have blended mythology with a fictional narrative with a strong allegory throughout. The allegory of war and ancient gods. I wanted to bring some interesting ways of describing certain characteristics of terrain or an incident for the story. By personifying the plants/flowers it strays into the realm of fantasy due to the perception that these plants can feel lost and be hurt by the heavens. Also, plants can not have flashbacks and using this technique helps give context to the allegory and adds another dimension to the text. This story is based on a historical war theme. It takes elements of history in wartimes.
