Matthew Luther is a registered nurse, midwife and nurse practitioner who has pursued his career with the underpinning philosophy of service to the community.

Matt's commitment to personal and professional development has enabled him to demonstrate excellence in the fields of emergency nursing, emergency and disaster business continuity, advanced life support education and eLearning platforms.
Matt has worked at Calvary Hospital since 2000 where he is currently the co-director of the Emergency Department. Among other roles, Matt has been involved in ACT Disaster Planning and volunteer work for the Southern Districts Rural Bushfire Service.

Matt holds qualifications in Aviation Nursing and is also a critical care aero-medical retrieval specialist with the Royal Australian Air Force (Reserves). In this position he has been involved in the repatriation of many critically ill and injured Defence Force personnel and civilians and has provided disaster relief and humanitarian aid in South East Asia.
