Since he graduated from the University with a Bachelor Degree in Arts (Accounting), Craig has achieved great success in his field of accounting and as a prominent Canberra business person. He is currently a partner at KPMG, one of the world's largest professional services firms where he has worked internationally as a senior auditor. As a partner in the firm's Government Advisory Services division, Craig is responsible for the provision of financial management, business and program advisory and taxation services to both public and private sector organisations.

Outside of KPMG, Craig has been and continues to be actively involved in a range of businesses, charity and community activities, including the Canberra Business Council (Chairman from 2002 to 2009). He is also the chair of Regional Development Australia ACT, and a board member of the Australian Foundation for Mental Health Research.
