Claudia’s experience in the art and exhibition industry is extensive

BACHELOR OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN, 1994

Claudia Borella graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Design in 1994. After graduating, she went on to study at the Canberra Institute of the Arts where she was awarded the 1995 Institute of the Arts Acquisition Award, and graduated with first class honours. Claudia's talents were rewarded once again in 1997 when she was the recipient of the Kyhoei Fujita Award in Denmark, and the Gold Medallist of Telnte, Munich in 1998.

Claudia's speciality is glass, and her reputation as an artist of international standing is rising. Her pieces have been acquired by the Glasmuseum in Denmark, the National Gallery of Australia, the Toyama Institute of Glass Art Japan, Bullseye Glass Collection USA, and
three of her pieces have been acquired by Mehoudar Raphael in Israel and Sir Elton John.

Claudia's experience in the art and exhibition industry is extensive, having curated and managed a range of exhibitions in Australia, Japan and New Zealand. In 2007, Claudia founded her own company Claudia Borella Glass Design Ltd, through which she operates as a distributor of Bullseye Glass in New Zealand. Claudia's work has been featured in LINO, Australia's premier lifestyle and Design Magazine, Australian Glass Today, and Artist's in Glass: Late Twentieth Century Masters in Glass. Claudia has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, including in the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
