UCRISE staff, members and research students can access a range of research training and development opportunities across the University and through our seminars, forums and mentoring program.

UCRISE Heat Chamber

UCRISE Seminars

Regular seminars are held to showcase research by staff and research students from UCRISE. The seminars are attended by a wide variety of academics and provide an opportunity to:

  • present research findings
  • assess honours and HDR student research
  • provide feedback for conference presentations and journal article drafts
  • discuss research and grant opportunities
  • develop presentation skills

UCRISE Forums

UCRISE forums are held twice per year. These forums are an opportunity for academic staff, associate members and students to take part in discussions relating to the direction and development of the institute.

UCRISE Mentoring

UCRISE provides mentoring across a broad range of research themes including High Performance Sport, Physical Literacy, Sport and Exercise Medicine and Sport Design and Technology. Mentoring support and research advice can be provided by UCRISE senior academics and adjunct professors and fellows.
