UC's Big Research Pitch (previously Pitch for Funds) is a University of Canberra competition. All researchers are invited to compete by pitching their research in a way that attracts interest and potential funding from a 'lay-audience'.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a research communication competition challenging graduate researchers to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance in just three minutes, in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
