ANZCA 2019

ANZCA banner logoThe Australia and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) annual conference 2019 will be held at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House in Canberra, Australia, and jointly hosted by the News & Media Research Centre and the Centre for Creative & Cultural Research, in the Faculty of Arts & Design at the University of Canberra.

The theme for ANZCA 2019 is Making Sense: Data, Publics and Storytelling. The conference will begin on July 2 with a day of activities for postgraduate students and Early Career Researchers held on the University of Canberra campus. The main conference will run from Wednesday July 3 to Friday July 5. During the main conference we will be hosting a Breakfast Book Sprint event as well as Lunchtime Roundtable Discussions.

Venue

The 2019 ANZCA conference will be held at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House (MOAD). MOAD is a living museum of social and political history, located in a nationally listed heritage building in Parkes, Canberra.

Conveniently located within the Parliamentary Triangle, the venue is within walking distance of several cultural institutions, including the National Library of Australia, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Australia, and Questacon.
