Dianne Firth is Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Design. She is Deputy Chairperson of the ACT Heritage Council, a member of the Design Review Panel for the ACT Land Development Agency, is Director of LFA (ACT) Pty Ltd and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.

Research Interests

Firth researches the landscape heritage of the ACT, gives public lectures on the topic and writes on the history, theory and practice of Landscape Architecture, particularly the designed landscape of Canberra. These interests inspire her creative textile works and she is acknowledged as a leader in the field of contemporary quiltmaking at local, national and international levels. Her creative work is represented in major public and private collections.
