Jonathan Ward

Jonathan Ward is the Research Services Manger for the Faculty of Health

Jonathan has qualification in engineering and science having completed a Master of Engineering in Photonics at ANU in 2017 and completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Portland State University in the USA, his home country.

Jonathan is professional staff at the University and currently works on secondment as the Research Services Manager for the Faculty of Health. He joined the University in 2019 as a Senior Advisor in the Funded Research team, which is part of Research and Innovation Services. Previously Jonathan worked in research management at the Australian National University with the college of science before moving across to the University of Canberra.

Having worked I have worked alongside several researchers, Jonathan has assisted in developing, managing, and submitted various indigenous focused grants to external funding bodies. He believes this is a strength of the University that he would like to support and grow. He hopes to contribute to the UC CIRI Executive Committee through his grant and research administration experience to grow Indigenous research, staff and students at the University.
