Tahir Ali

Tahir AliTahir Ali is an international PhD student from Pakistan and is currently undertaking a transnational, multi-disciplinary project at CDU, Darwin. He is working in partnerships with two Indigenous communities of Australia and Pakistan to explore new strategies to revive and strengthen Indigenous culture, knowledges, and practices for sustainable disaster risk reduction, resilience, health and well-being.

Tahir is a mid-career professional and possesses eight years of research experience with Indigenous peoples from Australia and Pakistan. He has produced several high-quality publications related to reviving Indigenous knowledges as a cornerstone of Indigenous empowerment.
