Casual Clinical Facilitators

The School of Nursing and Midwifery prepares students for positions in nursing and midwifery.  The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry and the broader community.

We are looking for Registered Nurses with experience in gerontology and older person nursing to undertake the role of clinical facilitator in Canberra Metropolitan area, and surrounding areas of New South Wales including Bega, Goulburn, Cooma. The role is responsible for facilitating nursing student learning and undertaking assessment of student performance against the standards of practice. The role will support students in residential aged care, non-residential care of older people (acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation, emergency, palliative care) and rural and remote settings.

Where: Opportunities in Canberra region, Bega, Goulburn and Cooma

Renumeration: UC Level 7 - $64.43 per hour + 11% Super

Hours: 20-40 hours per week for set 2-4 week periods throughout the year until December 2024

Key Criteria:

• Registered Nurse
• National Police Clearance
• Working with Vulnerable People
• 2023 influenza vaccination
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 including booster dose
