Although the artist and creator is unknown, the textile wall-hanging is a good example of a filomena linen Takana. Similar examples depict images and symbols such as Maltese crosses, sun bursts, trophies in dark brown on an orange background or as in this example vice-versa. The work is very much decorative and of its time (when the combination of browns and oranges where considered very fashionable).
