The Work of art
The sculpture, 'Extender' is an early work by renowned artist Tim Hodge. It was created from Oregan pine and coated with wax in 1980. It is an abstract work showing a number of boxes that twist on top of a large wooden plinth. Although this is the only representation of Tim's work in the University of Canberra's art collection, there are many other examples of Tim's work around Canberra including near the National Library of Australia and the Australian War Memorial.
