Anthony Kelly: Point Blank Refractor

The Artist and Work of Art

Point Blank Refractor

Point Blank Refractor by Anthony Kelly is an interesting abstract image. It comprise of a blue square at an angle on a blue and white background and a blue 'X' above it and a red mark on the blue on the lower corner. The work makes an interesting composition  to view.  In  itself, the work is a screen print and was created in 1975.

The work is very  similar to other prints in the University of Canberra's Art Collection of that time including those by David Rose , Colin  Jordan  and Richard and Dilys Brecknock.  It is very much a product of the 1970s style.
