Upgrade your Qualification
If you’ve studied Information Technology, Software or Network Engineering at the Canberra Institute of Technology or another Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation, you can easily upgrade your qualification into a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or a Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE) at UC.
Based on the level of study you’ve completed, you could receive credit from your previous studies and complete your degree faster than the rest.
- Certificate IV in IT, Software or Network Engineering – receive one semester’s worth of credit towards your BIT or BSE.
- Diploma in IT, Software or Network Engineering – receive one year’s credit towards your BIT or BSE.
- Advanced Diploma in IT, Software or Network Engineering – receive 1.5 years credit towards your BIT or BSE.
