This part-time course offers a flexible pathway for entry-level ‘helping professionals’ and meets the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia’s professional training standards. With a focus on experiential learning, you’ll be offered a range of both individual and group counselling placements, attend field seminars and participate in small group supervision on campus (a great way to meet your fellow study buddies). You’ll be able to work in a wide variety of community counselling organisations, including in the areas of drug and alcohol, youth, women’s health and family support services.
