Please note that on-campus housing operates as a separate company to the University of Canberra. Please ensure when applying for your housing you read through all of the information in the contract. Please direct all housing enquiries to the relevant housing providers
The UC Study Abroad Office offers guaranteed* on campus housing at UniLodge (Weeden Lodge and Cooper Lodge) and the University of Canberra Village (CLV) as a courtesy service for all study abroad and exchange students. This does not guarantee a specific room type (as preference is on a first come first serve basis), but does guarantee a room. When choosing your accommodation and accepting your housing contract, please pay close attention to all listed fees and the minimum contract lengths as these are non-negotiable and the UC Study Abroad. Make sure you check the location of the housing and the services provided by each accommodation provider. It is your own responsibility to do research on the accommodation provider.
*You must apply within the dates specified by the Study Abroad Office during your application.
IMPORTANT: Accommodation will be emailed to you during the application process.
Choosing Your Accommodation
The UC Study Abroad Office negotiates special accommodation contract lengths for Exchange and Study Abroad students. This information will be emailed to you during the application process. All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and the most up to date pricing can be found on the accommodation provider websites.
Once you receive the email with the accommodation offer, you will need to apply directly on your housing area's website as per normal and state "Study Abroad" in the Student ID field. You will also need to mention that you would like the "UC Study Abroad contract" in the notes/special requests section of the application.
Please note, as the Study Abroad offer is a special contract between UC Study Abroad, CLV and UniLodge, this information is not advertised anywhere else.
Please choose carefully based on the information provided on each housing area website before applying for housing, and especially before signing your contract. When choosing your accommodation at UC, consider your budget and your highest priorities. Once you accept your housing offer by signing and paying the deposit, contract cancellation fees will apply if you cancel.
