Australian Children's Literature: Joint Guest Lecture by Dr Stephanie Owen Reeder and Professor Belle Alderman
In honour of the new Children's Literature unit in the Faculty of Education, Dr Stephanie Owen Reeder, author of well-loved books such as Swifty, Will the Wonderkid and Ghostie, will talk with Early Childhood/Primary Education studentsabout how she created Australia's Wild, Weird and Wonderful Weather .
Professor Belle Alderman, director of the National Centre for Australian Children's Literature, will also guest lecture. Prof Alderman will share details about NCACL's extensive and unique collection of books, artwork, ephemera and author and illustrator research files. She will offer guidance on conducting research on Australian children's literature.

This event has been organised for Education students, but all are welcome.
