Drawing on the staff expertise of Marina Martiniello, we will explore Curriculum Design with an Indigenising the Curriculum lens.
Additional Information
This workshop will be held online on 30 September 2020 at 2:30pm in the L&T Staff Development Workshop Space (Virtual Room) of the SHED Online. It will be facilitated by Marina Martiniello, our education designer with an Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islander Specialisation, with support from Dr Stephanie Kizimchuk. During this session participants will draw upon pedagogic scholarship of Curriculum Design to: Deepen their understanding of theories and principles of Curriculum Design with an Indigenising the Curriculum lens; ? And critically reflect on their own practice in relation to these. All staff are welcome to attend and participate in components that meet their needs. The workshop has two components, a plenary session considering the topic and then two breakout options, ‘into practice’ where we explore how the topic might be implemented in the participants teaching practice or ‘shut up and write’ facilitating the reflective writing for your teaching portfolio, GCTE, HEA participants.
