Short Term Programs

UC Student in Machu Pichu

Student in front of Machu Pichu

If course requirements, work obligations or family commitments hold you back from experiencing a semester abroad, consider a short term program! If you want to travel and study over your break, consider a short term program!

  • Short term programs compliment your degree
  • Available during summer and winter breaks
  • Opportunity to travel and study overseas without disrupting normal study periods
  • Credited towards open electives and occasionally core units (approval by course convener)

A number of different universities and providers offer independent short courses for credit, which you can research and propose to your course advisor/course convener to undertake for credit.

Please note, that it is imperative that you seek academic approval prior to applying for independent programs to ensure credit approval has been given.
