Support for Students with Disability
Inclusion & Engagement coordinates and implements services and supports to assist students with a disability or ongoing health conditions. This is achieved through the provision of reasonable adjustments to enable equal access and participation in university life. The provision of reasonable adjustments is dependent on each student's specific condition and medical documentation.
Inclusion and Engagement can support students with a range of reasonable adjustments including Alternative exam arrangements, Alternative formatting, Assignment Extensions, Mobility access and Specialised equipment/and or supports.
You are eligible to register if you:
- have a disability
- experience injury or illness
- are diagnosed with a medical or mental health condition
- are the primary carer of someone with a disability and/or continuing health condition.
Support is available whether your condition is permanent, fluctuating or temporary. You may register for disability support at any time during your studies.
To register, you will need to provide current medical documentation and complete our registration form. You can download a Health Practitioner's Report ( PDF, 180.48 KB) to be filled out by your treating health professional.
