Human Motivation and Emotion will introduce students to drives and instincts, theories of motivation, consciousness and volitional behaviour, self-control, and self-regulation, the structure and function of emotions, relationships between emotion and cognition, and the regulation of emotions.
On completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of theories and current research on the role of motivation and emotions in human behaviour.
