Syllabus
The ability to think critically, creatively and independently is essential not only for success in any professional field, but also for being an active and informed citizen. This foundational unit aims to equip you with a toolbox of basic skills necessary for being an independent thinker, and to improve your ability to deal confidently and effectively with complex reasoning, argumentation and divergent thinking. You will develop your capacities to analyse and evaluate complex arguments, to construct strong and convincing arguments of your own, and to communicate those arguments effectively. You will also learn those skills needed for idea generation and creative problem solving.
