Syllabus
This subject will explore, through lectures, tutorials and assessment items the cutting edge of practice in counselling studies, community education and community development practices. Students will select from a range options that will allow them to reflect on and evaluate current good or innovative practice.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate and apply appropriate practices in specialised area of study;
2. Reflect on and analyse the various approaches to professional practice; and
3. Formulate a working framework to evaluate innovative and /or good practice for the specialised area of counselling studies or community development.
