Syllabus

This unit will study activities which promote safe, appropriate, judicious and efficacious, and cost-effective use of medicines for individuals and populations.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the principles of Quality Use of Medicines;

2. Identify factors that drive practice change; and

3. Critically examine emerging professional pharmacy services.
