    Syllabus

    This unit introduces students to management and interventions in disorders of the peripheral joints of the human musculoskeletal system. Students will study the pathophysiology and orthopaedic management of common musculoskeletal disorders.

    Learning Outcomes

    1. use their knowledge and skills in effective selection, safe implementation and delivery of a basic range of treatment interventions for musculoskeletal disorders; evaluate and synthesize musculoskeletal conditions; apply methods of measuring the outcome of these treatments; understand the implications for these interventions in exercise rehabilitation programmes.
