    Syllabus

    This unit continues the study of User Centred Design and concentrates on the principles and practice of Inclusive Design including its development and its alternative nomenclatures. Case studies and examples will be used to illustrate principles and methods, and design project/s will be undertaken to give students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.

    Learning Outcomes

    1. understand the principles and practice of Inclusive Design in the context of user centred design and will be able to apply these to the design of products and services. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

    Contact Hours

    Up to four hours per week consisting of lectures/studio/workshop.
