Syllabus
Understanding the complexity of cultural diversity in a world increasingly characterised by intercultural interaction is essential. This unit examines the nature of culture and perceptions, considering ethnicity, race, religion and assumptions, values and norms across different cultures from their 20th century backgrounds to the present. It looks at contemporary issues of misunderstanding and conflict that may arise when people of different cultures come interact.
