Syllabus

In this unit students will have the opportunity to further develop their language teaching skills through practice teaching and supervised teaching. In workshops, students will report on, discuss, and reflect on their practical experience with peers, learn how to plan lesson sequences, and critically use, design and develop learning resources.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate effective and creative teaching in the classroom situation;

2. Prepare and present effective sequences of lessons to language learners;

3. Critically use, design and develop learning resources;

4. Reflect critically on their own teaching in the classroom context; and

5. Engage in ongoing professional development as language teachers.
