Syllabus

This project based unit is the culmination of the Film Major, in which students are encourage to lead production teams as they apply their knowledge and skills to produce compelling short films that engage with the human condition.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1. Plan and contribute to the successful production of a slate of short films;

2. Maintain production and preproduction documentation for a short film project;

3. Reflect on their specialist contribution to the film production process; and

4. Anticipate and respond proactively to creative and logistical challenges.

Contact Hours

One 1 hour introductory seminar, average 8 hours per week self-directed production workshop, and average 15 mins per week mentor/supervisor individual and group session.
