This unit will provide students with a fundamental knowledge of the anatomy and physiology as it relates to the eye.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1. Define and correctly use anatomical and physiological terms as they relate to the eye;

2. Recognise and describe the macroscopic and microscope structures of the eye; and

3. Discriminate between normal and abnormal ocular anatomy and physiology.

4 hours per week, consisting of 2 hour lecture and 2 hour tutorial/practical.




Must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Vision Science, 372JA.
