Introduction:

The Specialist Major in Nutritional Practice offers students wanting to pursue a career as a professionally registered nutritionist the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies in nutrition with a vertical pathway with the Master of Human Nutrition. Students wanting to take this pathway will complete the core units in the Bachelor of Human Nutrition and two specialist majors, one in Nutritional Science (SM0042), the other in Nutritional Practice (SM0043). Students will complete the G/PG version of two units from the Nutritional Science major and the G/PG version of six units from the Nutritional Practice major, giving them 24 cp towards the 48cp Master of Nutrition. They will have just 24cp remaining to complete and be able to complete both the bachelor and masters courses in four years.
