Introduction:
The Major in Design and Technology Teaching allows students to develop the practical application of skills to teach design and technology in the disciplines of Food Technology, Textiles Technology or Industrial Technology Wood & Metal; or Outdoor Recreation. It enables students to acquire Industry recognised qualifications in their area of specialisation and enhance their prospects of employment in the teaching profession. Students must pass all 5 units, including 4 units in either of the Skills areas, and the capstone unit, Study of Vocational Education in Schools.
Prerequisite and/or Corequisite:
Restricted to students enrolled in 328JA Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Science (or superseded courses: 115JA and 111JA)
