THIS MAJOR IS CLOSED TO STUDENTS COMMENCING IN 2021 OR LATER. This major develops a sound understanding of a wide range of chemical principles and analytical and field applications as it applies to the analysis and interpretation of environmental problems. It provides a foundation for students pursuing a career in industry/government or as secondary chemistry teachers, and also in the support of research or professions in other scientific discipline areas. Strong links with the Ecotoxicology Research Program in the Institute for Applied Ecology ensures significant research-led teaching.
