Introduction

The Bachelor of Business will position students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to embark on a career in one of the core disciplines of business, including:
- management,
- marketing,
- service management,
- human resource management,
- entrepreneurship and innovation, and
- international business.

This course will provide managers, and those who will become managers, with a broad and coherent theoretical and technical knowledge in a range of core areas of business, combined with the necessary skills to be effective in the changing context of work, organisations and business.


The Bachelor of Arts at UC is a versatile and professionally-oriented arts degree. It has been designed to produce innovative, globally engaged thinkers who are fully equipped to take their places in dynamic working and creative environments.

The Bachelor of Arts gives you the option of choosing from five different degree awards: Creative Writing, Cultural and Heritage studies, Digital Media, Film Production or Global Studies. You'll work and study in real-world situations through project work, internships and mentorships. You'll complete units designed to help you develop the professional skills essential for employment in the cultural or creative industries, you'll have the opportunity to participate in international work and study experiences as part of your degree, and you will learn from industry-active professionals as well as world-class scholars.

The fees detailed above are the annual fee rates for the course. The annual rate is the fee that applies to standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. The final fee charged is based on the proportion of 24 credit points in which a student enrols. Students enrolled in a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) are required to make a contribution towards the cost of their education, which is set by the Commonwealth Government.
