Introduction
The Postgraduate Diploma in Human Nutrition provides students with the scientific background, specific knowledge and skills to address concepts and controversies relating to human nutrition, to identify the links between nutrition, health and disease at different stages of the lifecycle, and to improve delivery of nutrition information to groups of people in the community. It will allow many students from different disciplines and backgrounds the opportunity to study applied Human Nutrition. In a multi-disciplinary environment, students will be introduced to the processes, knowledge and skills necessary to develop and undertake research.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have a recognised Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, human physiology and anatomy and/or biochemistry studies completed at the second year level and at least introductory statistics, and a minimum of one year of work experience.
