The Graduate Certificate in Sports Nutrition provides the scientific background, specific knowledge and skills to address concepts and controversies relating to sports nutrition and sports physiology, and to explore the links between nutrition, physiology, performance and health outcomes through the lifecycle. This course provides an opportunity for a change in career direction or for professional development for people from different disciplines and backgrounds (eg sports trainers, professional and recreational coaches, sports scientists and exercise physiologists, physical education teachers, nutritionists and dieticians).
In addition to normal University requirements for admission to a graduate certificate course, applicants should have also satisfactorily completed the equivalent of six credit points of study in physiology OR biochemistry.
