Our Bachelor of Medical Science is a fundamental step toward a career in diagnostic pathology laboratories. It also forms a sound basis for employment in a wide range of biological research laboratories (including medical research) as well as in government regulatory laboratories.
Many students also choose this course to prepare themselves for entry into postgraduate medicine, pharmacy and other allied health specialties. It is a course that focuses on a breadth of clinical diagnostic expertise so that you can take responsibility and work flexibly in a regional laboratory environment or as a specialist in a specific discipline.

Information for Fee Paying Students
The fees detailed above are the annual fee rates for the course. The annual rate is the fee that applies to standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. The final fee charged is based on the proportion of 24 credit points in which a student enrols. Students enrolled in a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) are required to make a contribution towards the cost of their education, which is set by the Commonwealth Government.
