Choosing to study a Graduate Diploma in Communication will enhance your knowledge and skills as a professional and highly skilled worker, applying communication principles to global issues and organisational trends.
Building on prior studies in your undergraduate degree, you will focus on the direct application of communication to issues relevant to senior management decisions. You will investigate solutions to problems regarding analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation, across a range of professional communication environments.

Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Communication will receive credit for the four Graduate Certificate (level G) units.
If you are interested in pursuing a career in research, we provide a clear pathway to the Master of Communication degree.
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree (AQF level 7) or equivalent as approved by the University Admissions Committee.
Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Communication (UC) will receive credit for the 4 Graduate Certificate (level G) units.
In making an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and/or employment experience.

Information for Fee Paying Students
The fees detailed above are the annual fee rates for the course. The annual rate is the fee that applies to standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. The final fee charged is based on the proportion of 24 credit points in which a student enrols. Students enrolled in a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) are required to make a contribution towards the cost of their education, which is set by the Commonwealth Government. Information on Commonwealth Supported Places, HECS-HELP and how fees are calculated can be found here.
Application will be made to the Public Relations Institute of Australia and to the Advertising industry for accreditation.
