What does the Dean of Students do?

The Dean of Students works to ensure that the atmosphere of the University of Canberra is positive and educationally inclusive through the development and administration of a number of programs, policies, services and initiatives. The dean also acts as an impartial intermediary between students and the academic and administrative functions of the University.

The Office of the Dean of Students can provide information and advice to students in relation to:

  • complaint, grievance and appeal processes
  • a range of support programs for students
  • all University policies and procedures.
