Financial Support @ UC
There are a range of financial support programs available for University of Canberra students.
|FINANCIAL SUPPORT @ UC|
Student Bursary Program
This program has been established to ensure that students in financial hardship or crisis who cannot access other modes of financial support (i.e. Centrelink) can receive payments to support accommodation, food and other expenses. Applications are received online and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Tuition Fee Payment Plan
In extenuating circumstances, students can apply for a payment plan for tuition fees.
For Australian higher education students, a SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank Student Personal Loan can help you get what you need. They offer unsecured and secured options, competitive rates, no application or ongoing monthly fees and free online redraw.
UC has a wide range of scholarships available to you which can assist with living costs, textbooks or that can contribute towards your fees. Submit one application and you'll be considered for every scholarship you're eligible for.
Additional UC scholarships & prizes
UC works with a range of partners to ensure students are financially supported as they commence and continue their studies.
The UCX Food Pantry
Each week students receive 10 points to “spend” at the UCX Student Food Pantry to collect non-perishable items of their choice. The pantry is open from 11am to 1pm every Tuesday and Thursday and from 4-6pm Wednesday and is located at the UCX Student Lounge.
HEPPP WIL Bursary
Students who are part of an equity group may be eligible for WILSS2021 support. Students from a remote or regional area, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students, students with diverse abilities, learning needs or a disability, and/or who come from a low income household are encouraged to apply for WILSS2021 financial support.
