Planned Giving

a university student sitting on a bench wearing a graduation gown and capMaking the decision to nominate the University of Canberra as a beneficiary in your Will is a very special way of giving. It is your chance to support what you value the most about our education and/or research and have a positive influence on the future of this University.

Planned gifts can be made for specific or general purpose and can be named to recognise your contribution or people important to you. Planned gifts are most commonly endowed to ensure your legacy creates benefit in perpetuity. Please refer to the pages Named Gifts and Endowments for more information.

If you are considering leaving a bequest to the University of Canberra we highly encourage you to get in touch with the Foundation team for a confidential discussion. A will is a very personal statement and its wording is extremely important as it determines how your gift will be used. Our team will work with you to understand what you wish to achieve with your gift and will help explain and guide you through the ways in which you can make that a reality.

To discuss making a bequest and other planned giving options please contact the Foundation team.
