Higher Degrees by Research

With a research focus on educational innovation, extensive partnerships with industry and our research centres, the Faculty of Education is committed to supporting research students to pursue Higher Degrees by Research. Our HDR candidates are part of a strong research culture and form an integral aspect of the faculty research activities and UC community.

The diversity of educational research in the Faculty includes an array of projects related to:

  • school teaching
  • teacher education
  • educational policy
  • tertiary teaching and learning
  • teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL)
  • teacher professional development
  • inclusive education and
  • community education and development.
