Christina is an Assistant Professor of Learning Technologies and a member of the STEM Education Research Centre (SERC) research team. Christina completed her PhD at Utah State University in Mathematics Education and Leadership, joining the University of Canberra in early 2019.
Christina's research interests include the use of technology in teaching mathematics topics and educational app development. Her dissertation was entitled "Learning Logic: A Mixed Methods Study to Examine the Effects of Context Ordering on Reasoning About Conditionals", where she developed a touch-screen app to test a theory about learning to reason about conditional statements in different contexts.
Christina has contributed to multiple funded research grants, such as App Camp for girls and STARS! GEAR UP at Utah State University. Her scholarly contributions include several publications, for both researchers and practitioners, and research publications at local, state and national conferences.
