ELSA Communications Coordinator
Amanda is the Communications Coordinator for the Early Learning STEM Australia Pilot. She provides pedagogical and technical assistance to the Educators involved in the pilot. She is a qualified secondary school teacher who has experience from early childhood through to tertiary education.
Previously Amanda has worked as a Media Arts researcher, which involved mentoring primary school teachers to implement Media Arts into classroom curriculum, as well as working in informal learning settings with young people. She has experience developing curriculum for primary and secondary schools in the Arts including Arts integration.
Amanda is currently a PhD candidate examining the integration of Media Arts curriculum in primary schools. She was awarded a Master of Learning Innovation (Education) from the Queensland University of Technology and she also holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Drama and Film Studies)/Bachelor of Education (Secondary).
