Overview
Jane has worked with UC over an 8 year plus period in sessional roles across the School of Law. In 2019, Jane was appointed as a Lecturer within the Faculty and she provides a cross-disciplinary perspective and focus to areas such as workplace law, tort law, negotiation (law units) and foundation units in the Human Resources and Management streams. Jane has also previously worked at Western Sydney University (Campbelltown) as a lecturer (employment law) and at the Canberra Institute of Technology (teaching various human resources subjects) in a sessional capacity.
Jane is a qualified lawyer and has practised law in both the public and private sectors. She has worked as a Director of Legal Services within government and her career has also spanned Senior Executive roles in the private and not-for-profit sectors with responsibility for global HR services. Jane most recently worked as a consultant to government and private clients specialising in HR/IR and Corporate Governance Advisory; training delivery; change management and workplace investigations. Her practical experience and continuing strong connection and involvement with industry, provide UC law and management students with access to real world learning and application.
